Abstract
PURPOSE:To speed discrimination timing by decreasing the number of operators by discriminating a difference value between both operand addresses found by the operators and by comparing it with the result of the descrimination of operand-length discriminating circuits. CONSTITUTION:An operator 3 finds a difference value between the operand addresses OA1 and OA2 of the 1st and 2nd registers 1 and 2, and difference discriminating circuits 4 and 5 discriminate a <=16-byte, a <=8-byte, and a <=4- byte difference value. In an operand-length register 7, specified operand length data is set and operand-length discriminating circuits 8 and 9 discriminate <=8- byte operand length and <=4-byte operand length to inform two-input AND circuits 10 and 11 of them. The circuits 10 and 11 and a three-input AND circuit 12 discriminate whether the operand length is less than the difference value between both the addresses.
