Abstract

PURPOSE: To suppress the rise in the temperature of working oil and make an oil compact, by providing the hydraulic driver of an anchoring cable with a closed circuit for controlling the tension of the cable to a constant level while regenerating motive power during the delivery of the cable.
CONSTITUTION: To control the delivery tension of a cable 3 on a drum 2 to a constant level, the drive of a hydraulic pump 10 by an electric motor 11 is stopped and only a tilt angle which determines the discharge quantity of the pump is set constant through a servoamplifier 13. When the drum 2 is rotated due to the load on the cable 3, some of drained oil from a hydraulic motor 1 flows to the suction side of the motor through the relief valve 7 of a by-pass circuit 12 and the other acts to rotate the hydraulic pump 10 and then flows to the suction side of the motor 1 through a passage 4 so that the delivery tension of the cable 3 is kept constant. At that time, the electric motor 11 is turned by the rotation of the hydraulic pump 10 to act as an electricity generator. The generated electricity is stored in a battery to regenerate the motive power.
