Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent an ignition error at high speed run without the need of a discharging transistor of a large capacity by generating a saw tooth waveform which is constituted of a rise time inclination corresponding to a voltage level and a fall time inclination having a certain proportional relation with the former inclination. CONSTITUTION:A reveolution signal detector 2 produces pulse (a). A saw tooth waveform generation circuit 23 produces a saw tooth waveform with an input signal whose fall inclination is twice as large as a rise inclination, starting the rise in response to the signal (a) and the fall at a certain voltage. A comparator 26 detects that a voltage of the saw tooth wave is raised up to a V2 and starts feeding of an ignition coil with current. In addition, synchronously with the signal (a), the comparator cuts off the current for the ignition coil to generate an ignition spark. Thereby, an error at high speed run may be eliminated without the need of a discharging transistor of a large capacity.
