Abstract
PURPOSE: To improve the total efficiency of engine by generating the power through an exhaust gas turbine then driving a supercharger by said electric power.
CONSTITUTION: The exhaust gas from an engine 11 will drive an exhaust gas turbine 12a through a tube 16 to generate the power by means of a generator 12 then evaporating the water in a tube 14 through a heat exchanger 13 and exhausts to the outside 15. While the supply air is supplied by a motor 22a driven electrically by said generator 12 through an out air port 21, and when required it is also supplied by a supercharger 23b driven by a turbine 23a which is driven by the steam in said tube 14. The supercharged supply air will bring the water in an air cooler 24 into the hot water to be used for the heating, while furthermore it is cooled by an air cooler 26 and supplied to the engine 11. A tube 31 is branched as required from the supply tube 28 then it is cooled again and used as the ventilation air for the in-room air conditioning.
