Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent the vacuum from being lowered by a method wherein the space between double glass tubes is made vacuous and a heat collecting tube is inserted into the inner tube. CONSTITUTION:The space between the outer and inner glass tubes 2a and 2b is made highly vacuous by sealing the ends of the outer glass tube 2a and of the inner glass tube 2b by annular end plates 3a. The heat collecting metallic tube 1 is inserted into said inner glass tube 2b and the gap between the metallic tube 1 and the inner glass tube 2b is packed with sealing agent. A reflecting film 4 is provided on a part of the inner peripheral surface of said outer galss tube 2a.
