Abstract

PURPOSE:To supply an ink easily by a method wherein grooves communicating with wire holding holes and sloped upwardly are provided at the front surface of a wire holder of a wire dot printer, and an ink-impregnated member, a part of which is pressed against the upper part of the grooves is provided at the side part of the wire holder. CONSTITUTION:The grooves 5 communicating with the wire holding holes 5a (into which wires are inserted) and sloped upwardly are provided at the tip end surface of the wire holder 5 in a wire impact printer which surface is faced to recording paper 4.
