Abstract
PURPOSE: To contrive to save heat by a method wherein a benzol-containing absorption oil to be fed into a stripping tower is heated by a high-pressure steam in a heat exchanger, and condensate water is flashed at a low pressure and is used as steam for stripping in the stripping tower.
CONSTITUTION: The benzol-containing absorption oil B discharged from an absorption tower is preheated by passing it through a gas-liquid heat exchanger 2 and an oil heat exchanger 3, then it is fed into a dehydration tower 4, where water and corrosive components in the oil B are separated from the oil B and are fed to the stripping tower 6 via the top of the dehydration tower 4. The oil B discharged from the tower 4 is passed through an oil heat exchanger 11, then it is passed through an oil heater 5 to heat it by the high-pressure steam C and is fed into an intermediate stage of the stripping tower 6. The high-pressure steam condensate E obtained at the heater 5 is flashed at a low pressure in a flash drum 10, and the resulting low- pressure steam F is reused as the stripping steam for the stripping tower 6. In addition, high- pressure steam C' is supplied to provide the required amount of steam. A distillate obtained from the top of the tower 6 is condensed by passing it through the gas-liquid heat exchanger 2 and a light oil cooler 8, and the resulting condensate is separated into a light oil fraction and water by a separator 9. A portion of the light oil fraction is used for reflux, the remainder being made to be a finished light oil H, and a naphthalene fraction I is obtained as a by-distillate.
