Abstract

PURPOSE:To remove accumulated and molten dust safely and easily by providing a screw in a cylindrical body which conducts the pressure of high-temp. dust-laden gas in a fire furnace or the like from the furnace wall to a pressure gage, and permitting injection of high-pressure gas. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical body 2 having an aperture part is mounted to the wall 1 of a fire furnace 3, and a measuring device 12 is connected to a pressure tap 2a. A nozzle 10 is provided to the body 2. A screw consisting of a plurality of spiral pieces 7 mounted to a shaft 6 driven by a motor 8 is provided in the body 2. The screw may be the one having a gas passage port as one body other than the illustrated one. The screw is rotated by the motor 8 to crush the dust accumulated in the aperture part and to extrude it out into the furnace 3. Finaly, high-pressure gas is injected through the nozzle 10 to blow off the remaining dust in the inside. Thereby, the dust is removed safely and easily, and during cleaning, the measuring instrument continues operation, giving no hindrances to automatic controlling.
