Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable a rapid and simple cleaning of a device, by a method wherein a cleaning gas is caused to flow into a gas inlet port and to jet through a jet hole to blow off foreign matters. CONSTITUTION:After a high-pressure cleaning gas flows from the air into an outflow port 18 in a power outlet 17 attached with the outflow port, it jets into an electrical connection female terminal 21 through an outflow port 19, a draft air chamber 24, and an air inlet hole 23. This removes foreign matters adhered to the inside of the female terminal 21. The inside of a dust-proofing cover 20 is filled with a cleaning gas having a higher pressure than that of the air togetherwith a jet of the cleaning gas flowing through an outflow hole 19'. This prevents the intrusion of cut powder generated from a machining center device, a splashed process liquid, and foreign matters in the air in a factory, into the dust-proofing guide cover 20, and always keeps the power outlet 17 attached with the outflow port in a clean condition.
