Abstract

PURPOSE: To protect the thin film pressured receiving body in a pressure tank from foreign matters and provide stabilized operation of an automatic pumping plant, by supporting with freedom of horizontal drill a cylindrical filter provided with pores for filtering the foreign matters/perforated in the horizontal direction on its external surface, on the way of a connection passage through which the exhaust passage of a pump head is connected to the pressure tank and/by which water flow is reciprocated.

Since minute gaps 15 and 16 are provided around the cylindrical filter 12, the filter can drift in the horizontal direction. Even when the cylindrical filter 12 vibrates slightly by water flow and foreign matters adhere to a pore 17, the foreign matters fall down. Besides, since the water which passes through the cylindrical filter 12 and enters a pressure tank 5 flows into a pressure chamber 4 through the/same cylindrical filter 12 in the reverse direction, the foreign matters which adhere to the external surface of the cylindrical filter 12 can be removed positively by the multiplication between the pressure of water which returns to the pressure chamber 4 from the pressure tank 5 and the minute vibration of the cylindrical filter 12. This protects the thin film pressure receiving body in the pressure tank from the foreign matters, such as sand, etc. and can provide a stabilized automatic operation of a pumping plant.
