Abstract

PURPOSE:To realize a simple, economical manufacture process by forming a core by winding a thin belt of magnetic metal and by providing it with winding. CONSTITUTION:A thin amorphous magnetic belt 6 having Fe75Cr3Si13B9 composition is formed by quenching molten metal by using a single roll and wound annularly. In this belt, a hole 7 for winding is made by discharge work and the winding 8 for flowing an energizing current is provided, thus producing a magnetostrictive oscillator.
