Abstract
PURPOSE:To make a subscriber-line signal system compatible with the international stadards by increasing a burst repetitive period to a period obtained by multiplying a PCM sampling period by a multiple of 5 when transmittng a PCM voice singal and digital data in two directions on time-division basis, and by assigning a bit for data information to each burst.
