Abstract

PURPOSE: To stop reliably through a brake spring by arranging a brake spring and a fluid pressure mechanism as the drive source for pressure contacting a brake shoe against a brake drum while to enable the adjustment of the braking through a fluid pressure mechanism.
CONSTITUTION: Upon excitation of an electromagnet 13, a drive shaft 13a will project to the left against a brake spring 19 and when a post 4 will rotate to the left another post 3 will also rotate to the right thereby the linings 9a, 10a will be detached from a brake drum 5 thus to release the braking. Consequently the post 4 will also rotate to the right thus to pressure contact the brake shoes 9, 10 against the brake drum 5 and to brake the brake drum 5.
