Abstract

PURPOSE: To attain the improvement of installation accuracy etc. of a steam turbine in which the rotor shafts of a low, a medium and a high-pressure turbines are connected to each other, by inclining bearing stands depending on the inclination resulting from the deflection of the rotor shafts based on their own weight.
CONSTITUTION: As for a medium-pressure turbine 2, a right and a left bearing stands 7, 8 are mounted in prescribed positions and inclined depending on the inclination resulting from the deflection of a rotor shaft 2a based on its own weight. A turbine casing 2b is mounted on the bearing stands 7, 8 in accordance with the inclination of the bearing stands so that the pressure reception surfaces of running keys 10 and thrust keys 11 interposed between the casing and the bearing stands are put in uniform contact with each other. The casings of a low and a high-pressure turbines are also mounted in the same way to install a steam turbine. The low, the medium and the high-pressure turbines are mounted in that order.
