Abstract

PURPOSE: To remove deposits effectively and prevent a clogging in gas passage by a method wherein a plurality of soot blowing nozzles are arranged at the device for processing gas having NH3 and SO3 such as gas discharged from a dry type smoke discharging denitrification device using NH3 as a reducing agent.
CONSTITUTION: At a soot blowing supply pipe 8 arranged at a gas outlet duct 2, a certain number of soot blowing nozzles 10 is installed directing toward the center and corresponding to the soot blown area in each of the nozzle headers 9 through the nozzle header, or a composite assembly of the soot nozzles 10 and ejectors 11. In this arrangement, the soot blowing supply pipe 8 is moved in a direction of arrow so as to perform a soot blowing operation for the heat accumulator 6 and then the soot blowing medium is injected with respect to a blown area which is gradually decreased as the blowing operation is performed, while a volume of soot blowing medium is decreased, a duration time of blowing is reduced to enable an effective soot blowing operation and further a clogging of the gas passage may effectively be prevented.
