Abstract
PURPOSE: To mold the compact and precise gear described in the title, by arranging movable bottom part forming knobs on the internal surface of a sliding piece with intervals for forming teeth being provided, and injecting resin in the inside of the sliding piece, a movable mold, and a fixed mold.
CONSTITUTION: A plurality of bottom part forming knobs 27 which form the bottom part 14 of the gear 10 are protruded in the perpendicular direction on the side of the movable mold 23 with specified teeth molding interval 29 being provided. Steps 241 and 242 for molding flanges 111 and 112 of the gear 10 are provided on both sides of a divided sliding piece 21, whose internal surface becomes a crest molding surface 25 for teeth 13. The sliding piece 21 is coupled with the movable mold 23 so that the outside surface 27' of each knob 27 is intimately contacted with the molding surface 25. The fixing mold 22 is arranged thereon. Then the melted resin is injected in the inside of the piece 21, the fixed mold 22, and the movable mold 23 and the resin is cured. Thereafter the movable mold 23 is drawn in the axial direction of the knob 27, the piece 21 is separated in the right and left directions, and the gear 10 with the flanges is obtained.
