Abstract

PURPOSE:To pulverize the resin with an excellent yield rate by facing a pair of rollers wherein crest and trough parts are alternately provided on the entire outer surface of the rollers in longitudinal direction to each other, rotating the rollers so that the thermosetting resin is rolled in, while limiting the generation of finer powder. CONSTITUTION:The crest parts 1 whose cross sectional area is of a triangle shape along the entire outer surface in the circumferential direction on a pair of rollers so that a plurality of the crest parts 1 and the trough parts 2 are alternately carved in the longitudinal direction of the rollers. Said rollers are mounted so that the crest parts 1 and trough parts 2 face each other and are freely rotated with a crushing distance l. Then said pair of rollers 3 are driven and rotated in the rolling direction of the material. The thermosetting resin such as melted and solidified phenol resin and compressed and hardened urea resin is supplied to the rollers, where it is crushed and pulverized. EFFECT:Particles comprising 10% or less of JIS 145 mesh or less (fine powder), 1% or less of JIS 32 mesh or more (large grain size), and 60% or more of JIS 42-145 mesh (desirable grain size) are obtained.
