Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve cooling efficiency of intake air, by forming the intake air cooling water conduit provided independently from the cooling conduit of an engine, with an intake manifold integrally, and by connecting the intake manifold to the engine main body adiabatically.
CONSTITUTION: An intake air cooling water conduit 17 is formed integrally with the outside of an intake air conduit wall of an intake manifold 6 which is insulated form an engine 1 by an adiabatical gasket 18. A conduit 21 of cooling water which interposes an water pump 19 and rediater 20 is connected to the entrance/exist of the intake air cooling water conduit 17. Thereby, the cooling water temperature is kept properly by a computer 13 which receives the signal from water temperature sensor 22 in the intake air cooling water conduit.
