Abstract
PURPOSE:To achieve an accurate measurement of time along with a simplified operation by writing in a memory the time required for the acceleration corresponding to the wheel velocity with a start switch activated upon the commencement of the accelerating operation. CONSTITUTION:When sharp acceleration activates a start switch 1a, an output signal of a trigger 29 is applied to an FF47 via an inverter 32 and the output of the FF47 turns on a gate 46. Clock signals are continuously provided to a counter 6 at an interval of 1/100secs, and the results of the counting are indicated on a time indicator 4 as numeral. When the running speed of a car reaches a specified value, with the depression of a stop switch 2a, the time required for the acceleration is measured. In this case, the time which has elapsed since the depression of the switch 1a is written into a memory 5 while the measured value is indicated on an indicator 4 over the duration. Then, when a reset switch 3a is depressed, the measured value in the memory is displayed on the indicator 4.
