Abstract

PURPOSE:To achieve greater efficiency of the assembly work and higher reliability of quality by enabling the assembly of each part from the wheel train to the calender section in one direction employing a base frame with a metal plate inserted into a plastic material. CONSTITUTION:A battery and a circuit section 2, a wheel train and a motor section 3, a center wheel bridge 4 and a rocking section 5 are assembled in a space between a main plate 1 as base and an upper plate 6. A calendar section 7 is placed on the upper plate 6 and entirely clamped with a screw. A wheel train is concentrated in the center of the watch and a metal member such as center wheel bridge 4 is used to improve the strength against the deformation whereby a rigid construction is formed. A soft construction positively utilizing deformation of a plastic material is employed about the circuit section and a clamping section. Thus, this makes best of strong points of the metal member and the plastic member.
