Abstract
PURPOSE:To ensure a stopping position of a rotor positively by turning a motor drive circuit off when the number of revolution of a motor is predetermined value or lower and keeping said off condition even when the number of revolution of the motor reaches the predetermined value or higher until signals for driving the motor are supplied. CONSTITUTION:When H levels signals are applied to an input terminal 5, a transistor Q4 is at off, motor stopping signals (inverse currents) are extracted from a terminal 3B, and the number of revolution of the motor 1 drops. When the number of revolution reaches prescribed value or lower, the emitters of Q4, Q5 are grounded because a Q1 ia at off and Q2, Q3 are at on, and the application of counter torque to the motor 1 is interrupted. When the rotor is turned in the opposite direction for certain reasons at that time, the voltage of some value is extracted from a revolution number detecting circuit 2, but the Q2, Q3 are at on, and a collector of the Q2 and a base of the Q1 are connected by a diode D. Consequently, the base of the Q1 is substantially brought to grounding potential, the Q1 is not at on, and the positive stoppage of the motor 1 is ensured.
