Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the mis-drive of step motor, by driving the step motor with the drive pulse of specified width in response to the detection of external magnetic field, when the detection of rotation of rotor of step motor is stopped. CONSTITUTION:When the drive pulse PD1 via the OR circuit 154 of the control section is fed from the terminal 146, the step motor is turned and the rotary detection signal of rotor by the inductive magnetic field detection coil is inputted to the terminal 141, SR type FF151 is set, the AND gate 153 is closed, and the step motor is normally driven without application of the correction pulse PD2. When the detection signal of the induced magnetic field detection coil is lowered and the stop of the rotor is detected, and when external magnetic field is added at the detection operation stop, the induced magnetic field detection signal inverted sets RS type FF150 via the AND gate 156 closed. Thus, the strong drive pulse PG2 having predetermined width is fed to the step motor from the AND-OR circuit 155 and the step motor can be controlled without malfunction so that the non-rotary state can not be misunderstood with external magnetic field.
