Abstract

PURPOSE:To enhance the detecting sensitivity of a device for detecting an electronic watch and stabilize the drive of a motor by forming a closed circuit having lower resistance than that when detecting the rotation of the rotor for a step motor, when detecting the external magnetic field at the detecting circuit provided at the coil of the step motor to thereby increase the operating time. CONSTITUTION:A signal for driving a step motor is applied to inputs separated at N-channel FET gates 4b, 5b and P-channel FET gates 4a, 5a, and resistors 6a, 6b for detecting the rotation or non-rotation of the rotor for the step motor and N gates 7a, 7b for switching the resistors are connected thereto. When detecting the rotation or non-rotation of the step motor, it forms a closed circuit 10 including high resistance, and when detecting the commercial frequency magnetic field or the like, it forms a closed circuit 11 including low resistance. When the operating time of the closed circuit 11 including the low resistance is set longer than that of the closed circuit 10 including the high resistance, it can enhance the detecting sensitivity of the external magnetic field.
