Abstract

PURPOSE:To make uniform black record density on the present line regardless of record data on the preceding line, by controlling a record pulse width on the present line in accordance with writing-in information on the preceding line. CONSTITUTION:Data on the present line is inputted from a terminal D, synchronized with a control signal CI by a series-parallel conversion circuit 4, and converted into parallel information on the present line. A record clock is received from a terminal T, and a record pulse T1 having a pulse width t1 and a record pulse T2 having a pulse width t2 are generated and carried to pulse-selecting circuits 11...1n. A temperature-detecting circuit 1 detects the surface temperature of a heating resistor and discharges pulse width-controlling signals to pulse- generating circuits 2, 3. The pulse-generating circuits 2, 3 control the pulse widths of the record pulses T1, T2 in accordance with the surface temperature of the heating resistor. When black recording is done on both of the present and the preceding lines, the pulse is transimitted from the pulse-generating circuut 2. On the other hand, when black recording is performed on the present line while white recording is done on the preceding line, the pulse is transimitted from the pulse-generating circuit 3.
