Abstract

PURPOSE:To perform positioning of a microplate easily by providing plural grooves engaging with stoppers for the purpose of pitch feeding on the outer side surface of the microplate. CONSTITUTION:A base plate made of transparent acrylics of a microplate 26 is formed with 12X8 pieces of reaction vessels 26 having circular conical bottoms. Plural grooves 26-6 engaging with stoppers for pitch feeding of the microplate 26 are provided on either one of the outer side faces in the longitudinal direction of the microplate 26. In this example, the microplate 26 has 12 pieces of the vessels 25 in the longitudinal direction and therefore 12 pieces of projecting parts 26-7-1-26-7-12 delineated by the plural grooves 26-6 are formed. If the positioning members are formed to the microplate 26 in this way, the positioning of reaction vessels such as sample disposing positions is easy and handling is easy as well at the time of transferring the microplate along the reaction line.
