CONSTITUTION:The fine powder of titanium oxide coated with aluminum oxide on surfaces is produced and is added as an electrostatic charging control agent in a toner or on toner surfaces. If the titanium oxide coated with aluminum oxide on surface is added to the developer in a 0.01-20wt% range, the toner having high stability and exhibiting positive electrostatic chargeability is obtained. It is further preferable to stick 0.01-3wt%, basing on the weight of the developer, out of the fine powder of titanium oxide to be added on toner particle surfaces.
