Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce the power consumption and the number of diodes, by connecting the anode of a collector catcher diode CCD of a main transistor to the base of a transistor of driving the main transistor. CONSTITUTION:When an input signal answers right, an auxiliary transistor (TR)3 of a base driving circuit 9 of a main TR8 is turned on, and a constant current iB8 from DC power sources 10 and 11 is flowed to the base of the main TR8, and the TR8 is turned on. A base current iB3 of the TR3 is equal to a value obtained by dividing the current iB8 by the current amplification factor of the TR3, and excess components of the current iB3 are flowed to the collector of the TR8 through a CCD5 to accelerate turning-off of the TR8. When the input signal is inverted, the TR3 is turned off, and a TR4 is turned on, and a reverse bias current starts flowing, and the TR8 is turned off after the turn-off time. The current flowed to the CCD5 is very minute, and the current iB8 is proportional to an collector current iC8 of the TR8, and thus, the power consumption is not wasted, and the circuit becomes small- size because of the use of only one diode.
