Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain natural directivity and sound quality by correcting a difference in acoustic center of each speaker, by providing optional delay to a tweeter and a woofer while holding both the speakers on the same baffle surface. CONSTITUTION:An input signal is connected to a woofer 10 via a band dividing circuit 28, a delay circuit 32 and an impedance correcting circuit 36 and also to a tweeter 12 through a band dividing circuit 30, a delay circuit 34 and an impedance correcting circuit 38. Since the impedance values of the speakers 10 and 12 vary generally, the circuits 36 and 38 hold them constant to put the delay circuits in stable operation. Then, the amount of correction is supplied to the circuit 32 of the speaker 10 to make the acoustic centers of both the speakers 10 and 12 agree with each other, holding both the speakers on the same baffle surface. Thus, the deterioration of directivity is avoided.
