Abstract
PURPOSE:To make effective acoustic centers agree with each other by connecting delay circuit, composed of a passive constant delay type low-pass filter, to respective single-body speakers arranged on the same baffle surface. CONSTITUTION:In cabinet 3, woofer 1 and tweeter 2 having different effective acoustic centers lw and lt viewed from the baffle surface are provided. To speakers 1 and 2, band-dividing circuits 4' and 4, delay circuits 5' and 5 and impedance circuits 6' and 6 are connected to supply input signals. To the delay circuits, constant delay type low-pass filter circuits are applied. Impedance correcting circuits fix the variable impedance of each single-body speaker to stabilize the delay circuits. Thus, while both the single-body speakers are held on the same baffle surface, their effective acoustic centers can be made to agree with each other.
