Denoting output signals of amplifier circuits 4 and 8 as E1 and E2 and the constant as G, coefficient K is determined which satisfies relations E1=G[(1+K)e1- Ke2] and E2=G[(1+K)e2-Ke1]. As a result, signals of G(1+K)e1 and -GKe1 are generated from the right and left speakers respectively and mixed together at the position of a listener, so that it will seem that the sound is generated from a position outside of the right speaker. The sound from the left speaker can be listened to in the same way.
