PURPOSE:To use a wide processing capacity area effectively by degenerating and storing a control program for a channel system device in a call connecting processor when the processing capacity of a switchboard is low and by decentralizing and storing a channel program when it is large. CONSTITUTION:In nongenerative mode, switching devices S1 and S2 are connected to sides of contacts 1 and 3 to store dispersedly a call connection program in a processor P1 and a channel system device program in a processor P2 respectively. In degenerative mode, the devices S1 and S2 are connected to sides of contacts 2 and 4 to store degenerately a call connector control program P1' and a channel system device control program P2' in a channel system device SP and the processor P1 through lines (a), (x) and (v). The monitoring of subscribers, trunks, etc., of the device SP and the control over their channel bus are carried out by the program P2' in the route of the device P1, control line (a), control information line (x), control line (v), and device SP. On the other hand, call connections of subscribers, channels, trunks, etc., are controlled by the program P1' in the processor P1.
