Abstract

PURPOSE:To realize the flexible (N+1) spare system, by using the line side test bus as the common bus and constituting the existing function circuit and spare function circuit as equal connection location. CONSTITUTION:The line side test bus BL is connected to the line connection end of the spare line corresponding section LCn+1 as the common bus via the relay contact t through the main distributing frame MDF and the jumper J in place of the line. In normal connection, the telephone sets S1-Sn are connected to the existing circuits CKT1-CKTn from the main distributing frame MDF through the line connection end of the existing line correspondence sections LC1-LCn, line side switches SWL1-SWLn+1, and exchanger side switches SWS1-SWSn to perform exchange, communication and test. Further, when the correspondence section LCn+1 is taken as spare, the lines of telephone sets S1-Sn are connected respectively to the line correspondence sections LC1-LCn at the main distributing frame MDF, the test unit TE is connected to the line connection end of the correspondence section LCn+1 in place of lines via the contact t of the common bus to give flexibility to the function of the correspondence section LCn+1.
