Abstract

PURPOSE:To increase the using efficiency of the optical energy, by projecting and also scanning a 1-dimensional pattern in which the bright and dark spots are aligned alternately and equidistantly onto a subject by means of a laser beam scanner and thus forming a deformed grid pattern. CONSTITUTION:A laser beam 2 sent from a laser device 1 is converted into a laser beam having a strip-type converging point through a beam converter 5 and modulated by a grid 6. This modulated beam irradiates a hologram disk 7 through the 1st perforated mirror 8. Furthermore the beam 2 passes through the perforation of the 2nd perforated mirror 11 and is reflected by mirrors 12 and 13, and made incident to a subject 10 with an incident angle theta. The grid 6 and the subject 10 are set at the image forming position of the disk 7, and accordingly the strip-type focused beam passed through the grid 6 is projected on the subject 10. The laser beam on the subject 10 has a form which is thin in the main scanning direction and thick in the subscanning direction and is constituted by the bright and dark points which are aligned alternately and equidistantly.
