Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a motor driving circuit of electricity-saving type by controlling a variable voltae source so that the voltage between the collectors and the emitters of motor driving transistor group becomes the minimum value in the active region in response to the motor coil terminal voltage detection signal. CONSTITUTION:When the terminal voltage proportional to the rotating speed of a 3-phase brushless motor 1 is raised due to the rise of the rotatig speed, the voltage signal 32 responsive to the voltage between the collector and the emitters of respective phases is lowered, thereby raising the feedback control signal 33 via an opeational amplifier 31, is compared with the output 35 of a triangular wave genertor 34 in a comparator 33 to increase the ON time of the switching transistor 38, thereby raising the motor drive voltage 43. On the contrary, when the motor drive voltage 43 is excessively raised, the detection voltage signal 32 is increased to lower the signal 33. Thus, the ON time of the switching transistor 38 is shortened to lower the motor drive voltage 43.
