Abstract

PURPOSE: To check the surface cementation and to prevent the deterioration of mechanical properties of a cooling pipe, by compounding main aggregate composed of inorganic composite oxides having special hemisphere temp. and binding agents etc. to be contained to form slurries, and by coating said slurries on a coated layer of a cooling pipe.
CONSTITUTION: One or ≥2 kinds of refractory materials, selected from silica, chromite, alumina and zircon, are compounded to prepare main aggregate; slurries, composed of said aggregate and binding agents and water, are coated on the outer surface of a cooling pipe. The main aggregate is prepared by compounding inorganic composite oxides so as it comes to have 1,200W1,400°C hemisphere temp.; and slurries, composed of said aggregate, binding agents, water and surface active agents if necessary, are coated on the outer surface of said heat-resistance coated layer again to form a heat-resistance coated layer.
