Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of clogging of air diffusing parts and maintain good air diffusion by providing the air diffusion parts having multiple through-holes communicating with a main air pipe downward in an air diffuser used for aeration treatment. CONSTITUTION:Air diffusion parts 13 consisting of cap-like members are provided downward on the lower side of branch pipes 12 connecting to a main air pipe 12. Multiple through-holes 13a are provided to the parts 13. In an another embodiment, the parts 13 consist of a cylindrical air diffusion cylinder 14 provided horizontally in communication with the pipe 11, and a film 15 coated with, for example, a synthetic glue, is provided in the upper half of the cylinder 14 to make only the lower half part thereof air permeable. Thereby, the intrusion of the mixed liquid by the air into the parts 13 during air permeation is prevented, the clogging of the through-holes 13a for air diffusion is decreased, uniform air diffusion is carried out and the efficiency of aeration is improved.
