Abstract

NEW MATERIAL:The titled compounds of formula I (R1, R2 are 1W10C alkyl).
EXAMPLE: 4-Propoxyphenyl 4-(trans-4'-pentylcyclohexyl)benzoate.
USE: FEM LCD: they are stable to chemicals, hat, light and moisture and increase the response speed of the liquid crystal composition without increasing the crossover frequency fc, when they are added to a liquid crystal.
