Abstract

CONSTITUTION: A float 5, provided at the tip end of a flexible sucking hose 3 connected to a pump inlet 4, normally maintains an opening 6 of a cup-shaped sucking port 6' near and under a water level. The regulation of a sucking amount by the pump 9 is fulfilled by a suction amount regulating valve 2 provided on an air intoducing tube 1 communicating an air in the pump 9 with the atmosphere. Then, the air intoduced into a pressurized part of the pump 9 is increased or decreased corresponding to the increase or decrease of the amount of a sucked water, while the operation of the pump is influenced corresponding to the amount of said air.
