Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the malfunction at the time of memorizing a calibration straight light by using a pH standard solution and to eliminate or reduce labor of calibration operation, by providing an apparatus with a function of discriminating the kind of the pH standard solution. CONSTITUTION:Electromotive force of an electrode for pH measurement 1 is inputted into an A/D converter 3 through a high impedance amplifier 2. Noise by an outside induction currnt is prevented by an insulation circuit 4. An arithmetic unit 5 is composed of a microcomputer programmed to have the following functions, i.e. automatic calibration function of unsymmetrical potential variation and sensitivity variation by operating output of the converter 3 at the time of immersing an electrode 1 in the liquid to be inspected on the basis of a calibration straight line memorized by using a pH standard solution preliminarily and the function memorizing a set up potential range of the plural kinds of each pH standard solution and also, the function discriminating the output of the converter 3 at the time of immersing the electrode 1 in an optional standard solution and kinds of the pH standard solution from the ptential range. In the figure, 6 is a printer of the operation results, 7 is a D/A converter, and 8 is a meter.
