Abstract
PURPOSE:To release a station at the strongest level from channel selection, by storing a plurality of stations to a channel selection key in a advance and automatically receiving the station at the strongest level relatively. CONSTITUTION:A signal is applied to a muting circuit 6 from a control section 11 and after the voice is interrupted, tuning data in a present station data area 14 and a check station data area 15 of a present data memory 13 are replaced, and reception is made with a tuning data existing at an original check station data area 15. The output of a level discrimination circuit 3 and that of an average circuit 4 are compared with each other at a comparison circuit 5, and the resulting output is applied to the section 11. As a result, if the check station is at lower level, the control is restored and the comparison with the next data area is made similarly. If the reception level of a check station is higher than the level of the present station, the section 11 keeps replacement to be switched to the reception, of the station.
