Abstract

PURPOSE:To simplify the structure of the operation mechanism of transmission, by transmitting both the shifting and selection operations to a fork rod through a bell crank having two input terminals and an output terminal. CONSTITUTION:A selecting operation is given to a striking rod 26, a block 27 turns along with the rod 26. In this case, this selecting operation is supplied only to an end 33a of a lever 33 engaged a selection groove 28. As a result, the lever 33 turns centering on a pin 32. At the same time, the other end 33b engages selectively one of grooves 25 of brackets 22b-24b. After this a shifting operation is given to the rod 26. As a result, the block 27 also turns along with the rod 26. In this case, the selecting operation is supplied only to an end 30a of a lever 30 engaged a shift groove 29. Thus the lever 30 turnes centering on a pin 31. Accordingly, the lever 33 turns along with the lever 30, and one of fork rods 22-24 having a bracket with the other end 33b engaged shifts to perform the operation of transmission.
