Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain the amount of liquid supply corrected against temperature by measuring and recording the temperature of liquid during supply of the liquid with a temperature detecting element which is installed at the main pipe or the branched pipe at certain time interval or at each supply of the liquid. CONSTITUTION:With a feed cock 8 open, the supply of liquid in a storage tank 1 is started by a supply pump 3 through a main pipe 2 and a header 4 with a flowmeter 6 working. When this supply process starts, the signal travels to a recorder 10, and a control part 11 starts to operate. Then the temperature of the running liquid in the main pipe 2 is detected by a temperature detecting element 9 installed near the header 4 of the main pipe 2. The detected temperature is recorded at the recorder 10 at every 30-60sec according to the setting conditions of the control part 11. When a reset button 12 is pushed, the weighed averaged temperature during that time is obtained and an accurate amount of liquid supply can be obtained by simple calculation of correction to the temperature.
