PURPOSE:to enable to supply power efficiently to an electronic exchanger including main power supply, by supplying communication power in DC, and power supply for electronic circuits in AC and rectifying it at a controller of the electronic exchanger. CONSTITUTION:In an electronic exchanger consisting of a main power supply chamber 10 and an electronic exchanger 20, the room 10 is provided with a DC system having a rectifier 11 and battery 13 and an AC system having rectifiers 24, 26 to each controller of the exchanger 20. External AC power is received at a terminal 1 for the DC system, it is converted into a DC with a prescribed voltage at the device 11 in the main power supply room 10 to charge the battery 13 and power is supplied to the exchanger 20 via a DC main bus 5 from a terminal 3. In the exchanger 20, the DC power from the bus 5 is given to the controllers 21, 22 requiring call power supply via a bus 7. On the other hand, an AC power from the terminal 1 is stepped down 12 at the main power supply chamber 10 and supplied to the exchanger 20 through the AC main bus 4 and supplied to the controller via the bus 6.
