Abstract
PURPOSE:To measure the frequency characteristics of mis-alignment, by providing a submarine device having a plurality of oscillators producing different frequencies belonging to the same transmission frequency band, for a submarine coaxial relay system. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of oscillators generating frequencies of vacant band in low and high group of transmission band of submarine devices 3, 4 are contained in a pressure vessel, respectively. Frequencies F1'Fn' of the device 3 are provided in the transmission band of low and high groups, and the frequencies of the device 4. F1+DELTAF1-Fn+Fn, F1'+DELTAF1'-DELTAFn'+Fn are provided in low and high group transmission bands. The frequency characteristics of mis-alignment in sectionsI, II, III can be obtained, by receiving the oscillating frequency from a terminal station A and the devices 4, 3 at a terminal station B, transmission of opposite direction at the terminal station A, and making operation from each reception level. The devices 3, 4 can be obtained with low cost in relation to submarine relay devices and ocean equalizers.
