Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable the transmission of signals surely without causing out of synchronism, by transmitting a code formed with a synchronizing signal which is an integral fraction of the commercial frequency of a distribution line, after being carried on the distribution line between a master station and a plurality of slave stations. CONSTITUTION:A synchronizing signal which is an integral fraction of the commercial frequency of a distribution line tying a master station a plurality of slave stations is formed at each station. For example, a synchronizing signal B formed by one per two cycles from the waveform of Figure A is taken as the base to form a transmission code C, which makes FSK modulation for the carrier frequency to transmit it on a distribution line. Next, a signal D obtained from the demodulation at a receiving station is discriminated at a synchronizing signal E to detect the code F. In this case, the carrier frequency is selected to an intermediate value F0 of harmonics adjacent so that it cannot be interferred with the harmonics of the commercial frequency, and it is made to the FSK modulation to be F0+ or -10Hz. In case of demodulation, a band pass filter in F0+ or - 20Hz is used, and different carrier frequencies are used for incoming and outgoing frequencies. Thus, a stable signal without causing out of synchronism can be transmitted bidirectionally.
