Abstract
PURPOSE:To execute optical printing of high resolution, high quality and high speed by a printing device of a liquid crystal light bulb system, by superposing and condensing two luminous fluxes in a very small angle, to a shutter window of a liquid crystal light bulb, through a slit window. CONSTITUTION:Two luminous fluxes 62, 63 diverging from an aperture whose opening angle is 3 deg., of a fluorescent lamp 61 are converged by condensing mirrors 64, 65, pass through a reflection mirror 66, and are superposed and condensed in a shutter window 68 of a liquid crystal bulb 67. In this case, a reflection loss of a light beam is generated by the condensing mirror and the reflection mirror, but since as for the reflected ray, the degree of polarizatin is increased, influence of the reflection loss of the light beam can be reduced by polarizing a polarizer and polarizing plate 70 of the liquid crystal light bulb in the vertical direction on the paper shown in the figure, and by this method, luminance of the fluorescent lamp 61 is elevated, and writing is executed at a high speed.
