Abstract
PURPOSE:To realize a big reduction of cost with use of an ordinary condenser lens, by compensating the speed distortion of a picture which is produced by a polarizing mirror used in a laser printer, etc. by means of one of the two beams of a semiconductor laser. CONSTITUTION:One of the 2-beam semiconductor laser 1 is used for recording a picture (shown by a dotted line), and the other one (solid line) is used for the synchronous signal. These outputs are polarized by the galvano-mirror 3 driven by the sine wave via the collimator lens 2. The recording beam forms an image on the photoreceptor 5 via the converging lens 4, and the synchronous signal beam is reflected and separated by the reflecting mirror 6. This separated beam is slectively reflected by the light shieldig stripe reflector plate 7 and detected by the laser photodetector 8 in the form of pulse output S which is proportional to the polarizing speed of the beam. The output S is then converted into the voltage by FVC9, and the modulated clock signal is controlled by VCO10. Thus the distortion of picture is compensated. At the same time, the output is controlled by the laser modulating circuit 11 to give a compensation to the volume of exposure.
