Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a blower which may vary an amount of air in response to a variation in temperature with a simple structure by a method wherein a vane wheel of which blowing capability may be varied is made by a shape memory alloy of which shape may be varied in response to a variation in fluid temperature.
CONSTITUTION: Blower device is operated such that the hot air heated by heater 5 is flowed into the drying casing 7, passed through the fixed blade 9, configuration memory alloy plate 10, variable vane 11, rotary plates 12, 13 and then discharged out of the casing. In this case, said vane wheel is fixed to the rotary shaft 14 and rotated by the motor 16 through a belt 15. The configuration memory alloy plate 10 connecting the fixed vane 9 and the variable vane 11 is set to memory such a shape as <-shape when the variable vane 11 is moved to a position 11' in case of a low temperature and the vane 11 is straight in case of a high temperature. In this way, an amount of discharged air is decreased in case of a low temperature to heat the interior of the casing 7 and an amount of discharged air is increased in case of a high temperature to promote a drying operation.
