Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a paint film of low emissivity and high selective absorptivity by coating corrosion resistant paint contg. fine powder of Al and further extremely thin black-pigment-contg. acrylic resin paint on a blank material of low emissivity of an infrared region.
CONSTITUTION: Paint contg. at least ≥15wt% fine powder 1 of Al and a binder 2 is coated on a layer (b) is formed. Paint contg. a black pigment 3 and an acrylic resin binder 4 is coated at ≤5μ film thickness on this, whereby a layer (c) is obtd. Here, the layer (a) corresponds to a surface treated steel plate, and consists of a layer (a") formed on a layer (a'), but it may consist of single layer. Solar light A is absorbed mainly in the layer (c) and is converted to heat. This heat transfers to the layer (b) of good heat conduction, and from the layer (a), it is further transmitted to a medium. The layer (b) is of low emisivity, and therefore, with respect to the IR emitted from the surface of thelayer (b), the layer (c) does not increase emissivity considerably because the layer (c) is thin and consists of the acrylic resin binder which is relatively transparent to IR.
