Abstract

PURPOSE: To mix high viscosity fluid and low viscosity fluid with less number of mixer elements and with ease of operation by combining plural static type fluid mixer elements and perforated plates suitably, and disposing the same in a pipe in which fluids are flowed.
CONSTITUTION: Perforated plates 1 having fine pores 2 and static type mixer elements 3 are combined and are disposed in a pipe 4 in which fluids are flowed. These are so disposed that at lease one piece of the elements 3 is located to face the fluid outlet of the pipe 4. The plates 1 are so formed as to have 0.55 ratio of the sum of the sectional areas of all the holes and the sectional area of the plates, and ≤0.1 ratio of the sectional area of one hole and the sum of the sectional areas of all the holes. Single or plural plates 1 are provided between the plural elements 3. If fluids to be mixed are flowed in through an inlet part 5, the fluids receive mixing while passing through the elements 3 and the plates 1 and arrive at an outlet part 6. With this constitution, energy is saved and the applications of the device are widened.
